Alan Murray is the CEO of Fortune Media, where he oversees business and editorial operations and has expanded its digital and conference presence. Murray also writes a popular daily newsletter, the Fortune CEO Daily, which often addresses issues of corporate governance.
Previously, Murray was the President of the Pew Research Center where among other achievements, he expanded the organization’s digital footprint and publications. He also spent more than two decades at the Wall Street Journal, where he served as Deputy Managing Editor, Executive Online Editor, and Washington DC Bureau Chief.
He is the author of Revolt in the Boardroom and three other books.
