This was a transformative leadership moment where he recognized that he needed to get involved in societal reform and align his career with organizations for change. It lead to his creation of the Robin Hood Foundation.

Paul Tudor Jones is the founder of Tudor Investment Corporation, a leading asset management firm headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut. Jones was born in Memphis, Tennessee and attended the University of Virginia where he earned a degree in economics. After graduation he worked as a clerk on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Eventually he went to work with his cousin trading cotton future on the New York Cotton Exchange. One of Jones’ earliest and major successes was predicting Black Monday in 1987.
Tudor manages $17.7 billion in broad and diverse assets, including global macro trading, fundamental equity investing in the U.S. and Europe, emerging markets, venture capital, commodities, event-driven strategies, and technical trading systems.
Paul Todor Jones is heavily involved in charity. He started the Robin Hood Foundation in the late 1990’s, and more recently Just Capital. He speaks regularly on a variety of financial, philanthropic, and social topics.
