Dina Powell McCormick is an American financial executive, philanthropist and political advisor. Currently she is head of sustainability and inclusive growth at Goldman Sachs, as well as the head of the firm’s sovereign business, where she works to advance sustainability efforts and maintain the firm’s relationships with sovereign clients.

She serves on the management committee, and the firmwide client and business standards committee. She also serves on the Department of Defense Business Board.

McCormick has performed many functions in her career at Goldman Sachs & its subsidiary non-profit foundation and has deployed more than $5 billion in market-based loans and equity to drive sustainable economic development. She also led two major initiatives to drive economic growth: 10,000 Women and 10,000 Small Businesses.

Prior to her time with Goldman Sachs, Dina worked for the George W. Bush administration as an Assistant to the President for Presidential Personnel, and then as Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs. She would also become Deputy Undersecretary of State for Public Affairs and Public Diplomacy.

More recently, she served as Deputy National Security Advisor in 2017-2018, as well as senior counselor for economic initiatives. She has a bachelor's degree in humanities from the University of Texas.
